Full Bathroom Remodel with Ocean Views in Mission Beach

This Mission Beach bathroom had something most bathrooms don't - a direct ocean view. The goal was simple: build a space that actually uses that view instead of ignoring it. A soaking tub positioned right at the window, a spa-style shower with a frameless glass enclosure, and a custom white oak vanity that ties the whole space together.

Every material choice was intentional. The natural tones in the tile work - from the large-format floor tiles to the hand-set mosaic shower walls - were selected to echo the sand and light just outside the window. Nothing feels random. The shower is where the custom tile work really stands out. That floral mosaic pattern on the shower walls took serious skill and patience to set correctly. Pair that with the frameless glass enclosure and a pebble mosaic floor, and you've got a shower that functions like a spa and looks like one too. The custom white oak vanity was built to fit the space - double sinks, plenty of drawer storage, and a quartz countertop that stays consistent with the warm, neutral palette running throughout the room.
